My name is JennSpo and I had an anuerysm about four years ago. My whole life changed. I was in a coma for 3 weeks and when I woke up had to learn everything all over again. I lost some friends but I quit drinking and smoking cigarettes. i was very depressed for a long time cuz my right side is not working anymore. But now I'm just happy to be alive and every day my right side makes a little improvement. Life is good.

    Hello Jenn,

I'm sorry you had to suffer in life. Nobody should have to go through these types of challenges. Through the challenges that you and I must face however, we get the chance to become extremely grateful for life and what we have. There are two choices to make, one leads to destruction the other leads to complete bliss. I'm choosing to be grateful that I am alive.

Some of my friends are drifting away while others are sticking around. By injury has helped me figure out who my true friends are.

Are you in a wheelchair? Are you able to walk at all?

    It's nice to meet you.

    Colin

I'm not in school right now. I broke my neck this past July and I'm now a quadriplegic at the C5 level. My main focus right now is rehabbing to get as much return as possible, spiritual growth, and working towards the goal of getting back in school. I'm living life day-to-day, accepting what I have to deal with for that day, and living in the constant awareness of God and the present. I'm just being.

I am very thankful for my parents as well, as much as they bug me sometimes. Not everyone has a family to go to.

What will you major in if you decide to go in that teaching direction? Are you thinking therapy school?

I was in school majoring in biology. I love creation and how everything works perfectly with each other. The whole world functioning, completely balanced so that life can thrive. It is quite miraculous in my opinion.

        Colin
