Nice to find a sci tribe. Hoping to see it grow as sometimes we all may
have something similar to bitch about and recieve feedback from the understanding few. Im a para t-12 or so, and just 1 1/2 yrs post injury.
Diagnosed as complete, but having more incomplete attributes. Moved to Cal. only 2 months before crashing. I am north of San Francisco a couple of hours, sort of the middle of nowhere. Anyway, so nice to see you all.
Sincerely,
jason

Thanks for joining us. What rehab facility did you attend?
Just wondering, what kind of incomplete attributes are you speaking of?

Hi. Since i was moved to Santa Clara Spinal Rehab in San Jose, which is about 4 hours south of where i live.
As for the attributes, i have regained some voluntary muscle movement on the top of my legs and groin area. So i can lift and squeeze them together, however weakly, and sexual function. It is hard to tell what, if any, sensation has retuned but definately different from time of release.

Mon, August 22, 2005 - 4:45 PMHi Jason,
I'm a C6/C7 Quad also about 1 1/2 post injury. I live in Emeryville in the Bay Area. I'm currently doing rehab at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. I was also diagnosed as a complete injury and beginning to get back some sensation in my groin and pelvis area as well his lower back. I'm also getting to trace movements in my legs.
I'm glad to hear that you're getting back some recovery! It's great to have the part of the S. C. I. tribe.
